1. Who will be cleaning my home?
A regularly assigned team of trained professionals from Katura Cleaning Services will clean your home. All employees are uniformed, insured, and bonded. Our cleaning professionals will not eat, drink, smoke or use any appliances while inside your home.
2. How will our relationship work?
We know we must earn your trust and approval each time we visit your home. That is why Katura Cleaning Services does not ask you to sign a contract until your second visit. We depend on open communication and your honest evaluation of our service. We appreciate when you let us know how we can serve you better. We do offer a discount to our clients who pay us on an established schedule via credit or debit card.
3. What time will Katura Cleaning Services professionals arrive?
Our business hours are from 9:00am-3:30pm. We will arrive at the time your appointment was scheduled. In the event that we are running behind, we will notify you.
4. Am I liable for worker’s compensation, insurance, or employment taxes?
Many homeowners are not aware of their personal liability regarding work-related injury and social security taxes for independent home-service workers. With Katura Cleaning Services, there is no need to worry about such liabilities.
5. Do I need to provide cleaning supplies or equipment?
No, Katura Cleaning Services brings all the equipment and professional cleaning supplies. You may choose to provide your own cleaning supplies at your own risk, but prices for service will remain the same.
6. What about holidays or changing a scheduled cleaning visit?
If your scheduled cleaning falls on a major holiday, we will contact you to reschedule your service. If you need to change a scheduled cleaning visit, we appreciate a 48-hour notice. When short notice is given, we may need to charge a fee if the team cannot be reassigned.
7. How do I pay for the service?
Most customers find it convenient to simply leave a check in the home, made payable to Katura Cleaning Services. Payment is made on the day of each cleaning visit. We also accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Cash.
8. What if something is damaged during the cleaning?
We treat your home with complete care and respect. However, should damage or breakage occur while we are cleaning, we will notify you immediately or leave a note in your home if we’re unable to reach you. Katura Cleaning Services will make every effort to repair or, if necessary, replace the item. When appropriate, insurance claims will be filed.
9. What do I have to do before the cleaning?
To make our time in your home as efficient as possible, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys, or other household items.
10. Do you compete with other cleaning companies or individual’s prices?
We do not compete on prices; however, we do compete on quality, trustworthiness, and reliability.
11. What do I do if I need extra work done?
Call our office at least one day in advance so that we can schedule any extra time that might be required.
12. ¿Qué hago con mis mascotas?
We love your pets, but they do not know us yet. Therefore, for our safety and your pet’s safety, we ask that you please kennel them or put them in a room we won’t be cleaning.
13. Why are your prices higher than some of the other companies or individuals I’ve contacted?
There are many companies and individuals who clean houses illegally because they have not taken the necessary steps to become a legitimate business. They do not carry any insurance to protect the owners’ possessions or their own employees from injury.
